Twin opposite points of non-resistance within the gravitational field shared by Earth, Moon, and Sun. No push, no pull. The Moon’s Nodes, named North and South, are the distinguishing factor between an eclipse event and a routine New/Full Moon. When Earth and Moon orbit along the Nodes, they’re subject to less interference from gravity - creating an effortlessly perfect eclipse alignment. The Nodes point in the direction of an express route to where you too can effortlessly “fit in.” The South Node is a “Point Of Origin” while North Node indicates your ideal “Heading.” Depending on the makeup of the natal chart, and particularly if a planet is conjunct South Node, certain individuals may suffer inertia and resist motion. The South Node signifies both the weighty karmic baggage and the innate resources we carry psychologically. Whether or not we can drop the old baggage and play the hand we’re dealt will make all the difference on our journey North.
